The Rooms showcases works across various disciplines that stem from a fascination with the surrounding "small" world, yet have the power to transform the "wide" world. The exhibition opens up spaces for reflection, where one story isn't replaced by another, but where space is consciously left for one's own thoughts. Inspired by French author Georges Perec's book "Life: A User's Manual," guest curator Hans de Wit reflects on what a house—a villa with several rooms—can unleash in the lived experience of both artist and viewer.
