Fabrice Cazenave: SOLAR FLARES (2013)
This edition is a sequence of 30 rayographs, all of which are subtly different due to the process of production. A Rayograph is produced by developing photographic paper in the sun. In this instance, Cazenave has cast the image of woodland onto the paper in situ, creating the work as a magical florescence. Cazenave has created many works in woodland, which hold deep personal resonances as well as offering innumerable opportunities for breathing and healing.
